So I was channel surfing right now and stopped on Nancy Grace talking about this woman who was trying to put her baby up for adoption on Craigslist. She puts him up for $6,500.

Anyways, she asks the one guest to defend the point, and he says "We need to look at the facts, we don't know exactly what the transaction was about. Maybe it was for fees to get the adoption process started." She starts yelling at him and basically treating him like a "bad little boy" because he isn't going along with her story. He's like, "well we need the facts of exactly what the email" said, and the other guy was like, "well I don't have the email in front of me."

And so he says again, "well we need the facts." She flips out and goes, "Okay that's it, cut his mic." Disgusting.

TL;DR: News is fucked up. Who cares about facts. It just reminds me why I never watch the news and it's agenda setting ways.

I hate Nancy Grace. I don't really have any valid reasons, I just do. I feel like I might be the only one that really dislikes that lady. I don't know, maybe because she comes off as "I'm right all the time no matter what you say" type of person.

Yeah I hardly ever watch her. But I get the exact same vibe. She refuses to entertain any alternative viewpoint. It's somewhat comical except for the fact that I know that a large majority of the general population jump to the same conclusions.

She is crazy and judgmental, which I think is why people watch her. Same thing with Judge Judy.

Nancy Grace isn't really "news"; she is someone on a "news" channel acting in a way designed to draw tv ratings. You won't see anything like her on the PBS news hour, for example.

I noticed your Mark Cuban quote. Well, Skip Bayless is another guy who plays a role on tv...

Haha I just saw this the other day. Pretty awesome to see Skip get ripped like that. My problem is that people actually believe people like Nancy Grace and Skip Bayless are filled with valid points.

These people are giving their audiences exactly what they want. Whether they are right, wrong, based on facts or not, they are really good at telling their audiences exactly what they want to hear.

I have yet to come across a woman I want to punch more that her.

Yeah I know. I'm mostly just venting. I guess I'm just depressed to know that there is an audience for someone like her... or Dr. Oz... or the View...

On the plus side, it makes marketing campaigns very simple!

"Hello sheep, have you heard what this celebrity that isn't a credible source has said?! Ignore the fallacies and join today!"

No she's not acting. She was the same way as a prosecutor and the Georgia Supreme Court has called her out more than once.

I love Dr. Oz. That guy has sold more diet products for me than anyone else. It's incredible.

Somewhat off topic but does anyone else watch CNBC and see that nearly every female news anchor eye-fucks the camera every time they are speaking or listening to someone else. Like WTF?

Most Specifically, Becky Quick.

(Youtube is down for me or else I'd post a video example)

Nancy Grace is a complete joke. What legit news anchor would have people calling in during the news to tell them how cute her kid is and how much they love her and watch her show?

"Hi Nancy, first time caller"... derp
