National Geographic - Going Ape: The Alpha Male

claiming to be alpha logically has to be preceded by questioning ones own alphaness, which admits betaness by the alphafags own rules

thehobbster tries to play a gambit where he just turns every stupid little thing someone ever said into betaness, which, again, nullifies his own alphaness. hes more like gamma. not even beta but who gives a shit, because the greek alphabet (looks familiar oO) apparently consists of just two letters. youre getting dumber. maybe you really turn into apes?

from set theory, if you so much as engage in a discussion about being alpha, youre already not. its sad, isnt it? math wins again

Lol, you still mad about that other thread, son of Mike from Ohio.

Anyways, yeah, I find the whole thing pretty stupid.

I agree that Humans have transcended this type of thing on the big scale (not transcending nature though, as anything we do is natural, like building a bird nest isn't transcending nature). On the large scale, this is meaningless.

When it boils down to you and your group of buddies, it's 100% relevant.

I don't really have any real life friends, so I don't really know how it functions, but I do pretty well on Skype?

I love these threads and how the mention of the word alpha just gets the jimmies rustlin' amongst the neckbeards.

I've never really bought the Alpha/Beta dichotomy. Transposing a natural order onto the artificial hierarchies of human society seems flawed.

There is no alpha/beta dichotomy; it's a spectrum.

You don't quite get it though. Alpha/Beta is not a good way to describe human interaction because our societies are much more complex. While there are clearly animalistic instincts present in our social interactions, the thing that makes humans different is that we transcend nature.

We invented monogamy, laws against polygamy (harems), laws against hypergamy (difficult divorce), laws against infidelity, these are laws aimed at restricting our animalistic instincts because we can't have that nice civilization if we all run around trying to become the alpha so we can have the harem. One man - one woman allows energy to be spent at other things than jostling for pussy.

The bold isn't true for women, and the majority of us don't transcend nature as much as we wish.

I just watched some of this...

The main takeaway I got from it?

Those chimps have big ass sacks.

Maybe Nat. Geo. will put out an hour long special on how to get a massive sack. I hope.

That's all.

Strictly speaking, he could [should?] be considered sigma because of his reluctance to lead until it was absolutely necessary. This is typical of INTJs.

I don't know if it was a reluctance to lead for the sake of the ability or alphaness to lead. He was in military service -- remember in uniform at the wedding. I think it was more of him being reluctant to join the illegitimate enterprise of his family--probably seeing what he saw growing up and while having great respect and love for his father, did not want the stigma of illegitimacy. So he went alpha another way--military. At first.

Then when it became necessary, he fucking gloriously plunged into dark alpha. The killing of Moe Green, Fredo, and of course Sollozzo and Mccluskey:

I mean, Don Vito Corleone was obviously THE alpha male until he aged out. But I think Michael fucking nailed it. And yes, I agree 100% Michael was an INTJ.

hello im a beta who will slap all your faces down to the ground and to kingdom come with my big swinging dick

Which is exactly why feminism has been so wonderful for western society :)
