NBA Conference Finals

lol LeBron's elbow LeBron's elbow lol

Nothing was wrong with his elbow. That's about the fakest injury I've ever seen in sports. LeBron is a talented guy but he needs to stop reading his own press and being such a drama queen. He has 0 championships, and until he starts winning he's the next coming of Dominique Wilkins, not Michael Jordan.

your an idiot

In English it's spelled: you're an idiot.

So there - now I'm an idiot, and an asshole. And LeBron is still a whiny bitch.

Im pretty sure most everyone that watches basketball will tell you that he is most definitely not a whiny bitch. Every thread you post in you have a problem with somebody or something. You seem like a very jealous person, see a shrink dude. And your still an idiot.

Actually, it's the exact opposite. Virtually everyone I know thinks Lebron is an immature player who fabricated his elbow "injury" as an out in case he failed. And I'm sure you remember when he sullenly refused to shake the hands of the Magic after losing to them last year.

Or perhaps you remember when he said "I spoil people with my play"? Boy, if I was a Cavalier fan and heard that, I'd be gone. Who the fuck does this kid think he is? He was crowned the King, but hasn't won anything except rigged contests like the MVP awards. He takes the credit when he wins and blames his teammates when he loses. In short, Lebron is all about Lebron. If you would stop nuzzling his ballsack long enough to realize that, you'd see that obvious truth.

I can respect someone like Kobe even though I quite naturally hate him, being the Celtics fan that I am. Kobe delivers for his team. Kobe's legit. He's no Jordan, but he deserves the accolades. Lebron's shit. He doesn't deserve anything until he's proven to everyone that he can actually win when it matters. And every season that passes, he progressively demonstrates to the nation what he is - an exquisite choke-artist who nonchalantly brushes away crucial losses while contemplating his next ESPN cover or career move. Eventually the athleticism will disappear, the steroids will lose their potency, and Lebron will shrivel and fade from the spotlight, a testament to what happens when someone's ego gets in the way of unlimited talent and potential. Until then, keep believing the hype and buying into ESPN's propaganda - it will only make the disillusionment that much more bitter when it finally strikes.

PROVE IT. Show me a quote, a video, something where he made an excuse for his elbow, or blamed something on his team.

Then look at his stats (Avg. 29.7pts, 7.3rpg, 8.6apg) and please find me someone who beats him in combined stats.

Bottom line, 1 player cannot play a 5 person game alone. Thats the difference between LA and Cleveland, La has a 5 man team, where one person is above average. Cleveland has a 3 man team at best (a shit coach), and a superstar.

Ill let this thread simmer, and next year after he plays a year with a good surrounding cast and wins a title you can kiss my :nopenope:

And before you say its all about lebron and his money, look what the cavs can offer him in a 6 year contract, vs. any other team in the league :)

Actually, he said it himself when he said "I'm not gonna blame this loss on my elbow", which is a punk ass way to blame it without saying it. His best line though was when asked about free agency he said he and his team would have to sit down and talk about it, etc which was funny because he was referring to his agency, not his actual teammates.

As far as his stats go, what does that mean? Iverson had great stats but was never a winner or a leader and so he never got a title. Same goes for Dirk, Dominique, etc.

You can't crown yourself The King if you've never won a motherfucking thing.

Whatever you say buddy. He never said anything about his elbow during the series, and even then he said he wasnt going to blame it on it. Read between the lines all you want.

As for stats, they dont have stats like Lebron, hes what the 4th or 5th player in history to average 25ppg, 5rpg, and 5apg in a season?

He is a winner, he is a leader, his supporting cast however is not up to speed.

EDIT: Once again, you said you dont crown yourself the king, wheres the quote where he calls himself the king? Or is that just the media? Dont hate lebron because he gets all the hype on ESPN, thats not his fault.

What can you control in IM, conversions or Google. Lebron can only control how many points he scores, and how he helps his team, he cant control google (his team) they need to help him as well.

As for stats. Jordan or Kobe would have scored 40 to 50 pts in game 5 or 6. He didn't step up.

He played nearly (if not all) 48 minutes of the game, and guys like Lebron can easily score 30pts a game without effort.

In the playoffs you have to step up your game. And that doesn't mean 30pts, that means 40+ pts. Be aggressive and start driving to the basket instead of coming out of pick and rolls and either shooting a lazy jumper or passing to Anthony Parker.

What is this "bas-ket ball" you speak of? I haven't paid attention since Jordan was around (lived in Chicago, was a requirement of living there)

It is not basketball, it is karate.

So his supporting cast was good enough to get the BEST record in the league but now they're not up to speed? As the team leader, Lebron should've been able to take over the game if his team is slacking but he didn't. Plus Lebron likes to pad his stats anyway.

THE KING WITH NO RING.

Suns play absolutely no defense. I was waiting for their first game to decide, but that was totally pathetic. Sorry, Nash, but you'll never win a ring playing like that.

lol celtics.

the only reason they beat the cavs was because of lebrons elbow and the fact he seemed to realize he wasnt going to get past any good team in the playoffs with his elbow in its condition and the fact his team isn't any good and can't compete without him leading the way.

the only thing that could possibly give celtics a chance is rondo. everyone else has been playing pretty shitty. Either way celtics are too old and too slow to compete with the magic.
