Ned a VA, where to look?

oDesk is pretty pricey. But you get results for sure. Depending upon what kind of work you want, you will need to scout around. If you want someone to do videos and general marketing, head on over to fiverr. If you want someone to do submissions, seo and all that shit, head on over to the BST here at WF.

$2 an hour pricey for you?

jesus man, you must be some kind of digital slave trader

:pimp:

oDesk - order a girl from the Philippines.

Why Philippines? (I have a full-time writer there, so no harm)

What I realize with VA's from these countries... they work so much slower. (Generalization, I know, but time after time, it is what I see)

American = $10/hour.

Other Country = $6/hour.

In a 8 hour day, the American completes 4 times the amount of work as the third world person.

American = $80/day
Third World = $48/day (but takes 2 days to finish what the American does in one day)

Split Test WINNAR = American, less time (2 days instead of 1), less money ($16 dollars less every 2 days).

(no joke.)

It really depends on who you hire and what they're to do...your point is if you hire someone cheap you might just be paying more in the long run and I hear that. There's a couple things I would never short on, like programming for instance. Hiring cheap could end up costing you an arm and a leg when you've got to get it done all over again because it wasn't completed right.

For something basic like writing I always try to look at the total cost per word. A $2/hr writer could write a lot slower than someone at $5/hr, and the $5/hr writer could be a better writer to boot. So you really have to check into their work with a magnifying glass at times.

Where did you see $2 an hour? I saw like $100. Fuck. Am I Blind?

Oh wow lol I don't know, I guess you were looking to have different things done than I do. Specialists can get pretty expensive depending on their experience and location.

I agree with you, you get what you paid for.
For example; In my country, you can get 200 words article for $1 and sometime 300 words. And if you're really lucky, you can get ezine quality works.
You see, in some countries and some cities $200-$300 a month is a lot. Let's assume someone in a month work in 25 days. Let's say 300 words of article is $1, he or she can work 8 article a day. That's $8 a day and for 25 working days that's $200 a month. And that's a lot in some countries!!!

Always remember that you can get what you pay for. Cheap prices doesn't guarantee high quality. All websites you have mentioned are all freelance sites, the people you found there all freelancers who are working from home and maybe working with other clients at the same time.

I recommend going to firms with a proven track record of dependability and proficiency in offering business and leased office staffing & management services. The staff that you lease are backed by a good management and technical team
also, your files and data are secured and confidential.

Please check your PM for more information.

Craigslist job posting and nah, I don't have an office. I work out of my apartment (its nice, but still pretty clearly an apt). I got like 25 applicants and interviewed 10, found 4 winners. Just be legit, write a good post and watch the apps come in. And use best practices for interviewing and hiring.
