Need Free Or Very Cheap Hoster That Supports htaccess And FTP

Hey,

doing some experiments, and for that I need a free or very cheap hoster that allows to edit the htaccess file and supports php.
It doesn't matter how much traffic or space, just cheap like hell.

Can you recommend something?

If you are comfortable with ssh/command line, you can get a dirt cheap vps.

Check Web Hosting, Domain Names, VPS Hosting and Dedicated Servers the Mini plan is cheap. So are VPS offers with promotion.
