Need good Instant messenger recommendation, bypass firewall/block/etc.

Anyone have a suggestion for a good IM that uses 80/8080? I have a client that's behind a pretty restrictive firewall and needs to get IM access out.

I tried looking for a good open source solution that allows you to connect up to the major IM's, but haven't found anything of real value.

Any suggestions?

What networks does he need?

If he just needs any IM get him a Gmail account. Instant IM right there in the browser. Never had a problem with it and any firewall.
