Need Hosting Company/Dedicated Servers

Trying to look for a new host, any recommendations? Need dedicated hosting. Just want the best support (live chat would be nice) and the best configuration for the price. Currently with Hostgator and they piss me off all the time.

I actually had to get in touch with them yesterday (needed their help with some stuff), picked up the phone and they made things happen right away. I submitted a support ticked a few months ago, so I got a chance to see how fast they handle things if you don't call them. I got an answer within a few minutes if I'm not mistaken and tbh, the "heroic support" pitch is not just a gimmick ;)

We run several dozen servers, and while we colo them all now, LiquidWeb is by far the best provider we've used. We've had servers with LiquidWeb, GigeNet, SoftLayer, ThePlanet and Hivelocity.
 
Are you referring to this plan? I'm too lazy to take a closer look but from what I can tell, you get 2x more RAM and 33% less BW than with the $154/month plan from LiquidWeb. It's a decent deal but it seems that you gotta pay $294/month ($264.6 after the 10% discount), so it doesn't really smash the prices off of LW ;)

I wanted to get a big server for this project I'm running.

It isn't bandwidth intensive, but it is very database intensive (need a lot of cores and a lot of ram). The same configuration I got on Wiredtree cost me 300-400 less than what it would with Liquid.
