Ok, let me begin by saying I am not as technologically minded as I would like. I can learn what to do, but foreknowledge is a thing foreign to me. Now for my problem:

I was browsing sites, innocently (for once!), and came upon a site promising a trailer for an upcoming video game. On download said trailer, I found it was not so much a trailer as it was a (surprise, surprise!) very, very serious virus. Some of you may know it, it's called meatspin, and it both disgusting and inhibiting. Disgusting for the shocking clip I needn't describe which it thrusts upon you, and inhibiting because EVERY TIME I start my computer, it opens a page with said video and then proceeds to shut down my computer. It also brings up system 32, and if i close this quickly, i can stop the offending page in question from opening, though it somehow reverses the functions of my mouse buttons (this is more a petty nuisance than anything else).

I have no idea how to fix this- does anyone else? I'm writing from my laptop, the virus afflicted my desktop. The desktop in question runs XP home edition if it matters.
