So I am very new to the whole marketing idea behind web sites in fact I am web site developer. So I just developed a site called QuizNet Online - c# asp.net sql interview practice questions and somebody has written to me stating:

"I am planning a Triple.com advertising campaign.
Triple.com is an ICANN-accredited domain registrar.
It is a high quality website as you can see.
I am interested in purchasing advertising on your website
http://www.quiznetonline.com
Can I buy direct text link to www.triple.com ?
Can I buy a permanent text link?
If it is impossible I'd like to prepay for 3, 6 months or 1 year
(or any other time period, as you wish) via paypal.
I can pay a good money for a good link!
Please send me payment information."

So what I would like to know is, does this sound legit and secondly how much does one charge per month for text links

Given the fact that the emails looks like written by some 5 year old, it still does appear legit.

Respond back with a suitable price and ask for a prepay of atleast 1 year and see how it goes.
