I just added some new shared hosting plans to zensix.com and the lowest priced one is just $4.99/year. It's just something I'm testing out, so I don't know how many will be available. It's been a while since I did anything like this...

So why did you send this email out late last year :confused:

Starting on December 1st (or possibly sooner), I will be making some pretty big changes to the way ZenSix does business and I just wanted to take a few minutes to explain these changes to you, our existing clients. I wanted to make sure that you know these changes will *not* affect any of your current plans (VPS or shared), but will affect any *new* accounts that you may sign up for after the 1st.

SHARED HOSTING - NO MORE WORDPRESS

Since we are discontinuing our VPS services (for new clients), that leaves us with shared hosting only. So what's the major change we will be making to new shared hosting accounts? WORDPRESS IS BANNED. Yep, unlike other hosts who actively seek out Wordpress users, I've decided to tell them to go away. After running ZenSix for almost four years, the one conclusion I've come to is that Wordpress is crap. It attracts novice users who install hundreds of plugins, have no idea what caching is or does, and never bother to upgrade. This leads to insanely heavy loads on the servers with even the smallest amount of traffic and exploited scripts all over the place. 90% of the server issues we've ever had are Wordpress related.
