I've already gathered some info on him and passed along the information to a cyber crimes and fraud agent friend of mine at the FBI (although the Secret Service tends to handle some of this stuff usually, but those are mostly threats and security issues, not fraud) to look into. Since it totals a bit over $10k total, it should be investigated, and I'm assuming you guys don't all live in the same state as he does, so since it crosses state lines (like most cyber crime and fraud cases) then the jail time he would face would be pretty substantial. The FBI will have to subpeona PayPal for Rob's information as well, so if he thinks he's safe, he is sooooo far from that right now.
I think you guys should post everything on THIS thread that you have on him. The issues on how he fucked you over too. Use as much detail as possible. I want to show my friend this thread so he can tell me which of you he'll need to interview.
If you DO NOT want to be involved, tell me now, otherwise there is a good chance you will be contacted by him. Don't be scared or nervous either, because this isn't about you being in trouble, it's about Rob and his wife (if that's even real). Just be upfront and honest about everything. Try to collect as much proof as you can too please. Include references, receipts, invoices, statements from your bank or paypal, conversation logs if you have them, etc. The more proof you can provide, the faster things will go, and the quicker the FBI will be able to confirm sources of evidence instead of spending time on finding the same things themselves.
Remember, this isn't a priority of the FBI, so if we can make it as quick and easy for them to file criminal charges against Rob and his wife, then the better for everyone.

I got an update from him trying to give me software to spam other services and he claims he moved states. lol
go for it. While u r at it, send your paypal address to all the prev posters so they can take advantage of your magnanimous offer to refund a third party software purchase.
BTW, in 1993 I bought a copy of as crappy program called 'Windows 3' - will you refund me for that too?
