Network not paying, how to pursue legally?

Might want to move this to the shooting the shit section so it gets indexed
and change the title to PPC Coach not paying affiliates.

I had a argument with him a while ago because I thought he was fucking me out of referrals to his site, when I first got into AM. He threatened to ban me for accusing him.

He seems like a real doucebag of a person.

I would stay away from PPC-Coach and Wotogepa at all costs.

Good point.

If networks don't believe in the offers they are asking us to promote. They shouldn't have the offers in the first place.

also, what's the use of a network that doesn't have your back? Everyone would be going direct to advertiser if that's the case.

PPC coach believes in Warrior Forum principles.

Fuck others and ask them not to blow things coz
it will hurt their business.

Its time to stand up and give him some mental masturbation.

Well it seems a few other affiliates weren't even aware of what was happening with this offer as it was only pulled last month. So more affiliates in my position will probably surface soon.

I'll talk to wotogepa over the next few days and see what happens. Have also scheduled a call with the advertiser for next week.

I considered posting in STS with lots of links but thought I'd try a civil approach first and shitstorm as a last resort.

This might be coincidence or not but ever since you started this thread, I have been receiving emails from Wotogepa about various offers I should be promoting.

If you were at AdTech last week you may have met this person - www.myvirtualgc.com

Truth is, he was my GC at a previous job. Definitely knows the affiliate marketing space. I'll be using him for contract reviews moving forward. I honestly don't know if he's taking on the kind of work you're looking for, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Feel free to tell him Susan referred you. He'll know who I am.

Good luck. The fact that vendor find it acceptable to not pay affiliates is just mind boggling to me. Regardless of who you use, I hope you're able to collect! Maybe if enough of us start taking action these slime bags will go away.

It's PPC Coaches WOTOGEPA network.

I'm part moron for running traffic to them, I had my suspicions initially. So I sent less than $1k a month for around 3 months. They paid, so I ramped up my traffic and now this...

Any recommendations for lawyers?

Second - if you did go after them legally you'd probably be best off doing so in small claims court - there's no attorneys. Once they get the notice they are likely to settle or just not show up. Given the dollar amount you might have to split it into separate claims - you can possibly do that if it was different payments or campaigns they didn't pay you for.

This, it's pretty easy (and cheap) to file in small claims and chances are you can sue for up to $5k. Granted it's not $9k but paying for you own lawyer isn't that much of an option on that amount. Lots of states (and large citys) have guides on small claims court proceedings.

If all else fails, probably your best bet.

But guys...is it all possible for him (like this small claims court and so on) if he is not in US (or country where network is, in this case Canada) ? Would like to know too.

Yeah I misread his post, didn't realize he was outside the US, he'll probably have to hire a lawyer if he wants to pursue.

Small update. They finally sent me the August(net75) payment ~$1600. The bulk is still outstanding, the biggest amount being for the month of Sep. But it's a step forward, so I'm a little relieved.
