Is this retroactive? That's some of the dumbest shit ever if it is, I'd be right pissed if I promoted NB. You don't make an offer and change it afterward.

It seems all the networks are tightening up their referral programs lately though?

I doubt any network actually honors a lifetime referral program with all pubs. At some point when you are asking for payout bumps they explain that they can do the bump, if you make a new account that's not a referral....

yeah instead the networks can just pump their own money into advertising to gain new referrals. Oh wait the reason they get affiliates is because we're better at getting traffic than they are. Its a partnership that works because the affiliate refers traffic to the network. investing a % of profit is still saying that they are making a profit, considering something is better than the nothing they'll get from those who were decent enough to pump them some referrals. Whatever.

i like neverblue too. i interviewed there once upon a time as a matter of fact - they REALLY needed a new office tho, so you can't rag on them for that.

thing is, i'd probably have grandfathered the referral plan - like you can't get it anymore, but i'm not taking it away from those that already have it.
