No amount of bitching is going to change this. Here's how it's going to go:
It will take several months for people to lower their bids to account for the shittier traffic. During this time, mobile apps and mobile web used to seeing pennies per click will be seeing >$1.00 per click.
Even after campaigns are adjusted, they will still be seeing huge CPCs compared to any other traffic network(5-10x+). There's no real AdWords competitor, so they will maintain dominance on the web side of things...but on the mobile side, they will be offering CPCs that literally NO ONE can compete with.
People that directly use libraries from other ad networks will switch them to Google/Admob. People using mediators to optimize will see AdMob become the dominant provider in their optimization. Every other mobile company will be driven into the dirt and Google will maintain dominance on the web side, and will effectively fuck over every other mobile ad network in a matter of months.
The opportunity for complete dominance is not going to be countered by a change.org petition.
