New ebay site with PHPbay pro

The golf ball site is only 2.5 weeks old. just got indexed 1.5 weeks ago, and still building rank for my target keywords. Will take about another month until i start getting real organic traffic, so until then i expect things to go pretty slow.

But my other PHPbay site (Fender blues jr amps) gets about 100-175 unique visitors a day, about 100 are from organic search. i make about $200-300 on that site from PHPbay a month and another $75 on adsense. it's pretty much on auto-pilot now, so its a nice little extra income...

Ever make a site like this that failed? If not, and it only took a couple hours to create the golf ball one, why not spend a month making 3 new ones per day?

I just set one of these up last weekend and I think I'll also crank out one a month (if not more). I think the real challenge is trying to get it to rank so basically getting relevant backlinks.
 
ok, I have a ridiculously noob question:

For your golf ball site index page, what did you use to make the picture table of all the golf brand logos?

all i did was upload all the logos and insert them into the post with no spaces. The borders around the images are standard in the CSS of that theme template. So really each image just as 5 pixel (or something like that) gray border, so when they are all next to each other it looks like a grid...
 
hey im trying out the lite version - is it normal for it to take a long time to load the page with the items listed?
 
Don't bother with the lite version. I bought the wordpress plugin and API package and made my money back in about 2 days.

rgordon - thanks for sharing the link to that theme. It's perfect for PHPbay.
 
yapp, defiantly on my end...im just listing 10...sometimes it loads fast...sometimes hangs....smells like a hosting problem... I am using the lite version though, perhaps it sucks like that?
