Lately I will see good stats for a few hours, think Im making money, then I will blink and FB will more that double the reported impressions cutting my CTR in half. Since Im bidding CPM, this fucks me hard. At times Im seeing clicks with 0 impressions. Other times the impressions are grossly over-reported. Ive had campaigns that had run half the day with a modest ROI go $400 negative in the 15 minutes it takes FB to refresh the stats.

Yeah I get that too. Little trickles at first and then BAM opened floodgates out of nowhere. The impression problems is probably what everyones been saying lately with holiday and less to go around.

I tried putting up my first ever campaign today (dating for a couple of non-US countries) and my ad's got disapproved within about 15 minutes for reason 5 - the content of what you are advertising is not something we allow on Facebook.
The ad's were clean and no racy images or anything - wtf is going on? The site I'm advertising is just a normal dating site... nothing adult etc.
Am I just retarded or is this something to do with this 'instant disapproval' shit that's been going down?

Does the dating site offer "Casual Encounters" as an option for what users are interested in? If so, thats probably why FB disapproved it.
Instead of bitching here, go ask affiliates@ what's the problem with your offer/ad. They'll give you better insight and you'll actually get an answer you can use.

Just write something up on the "disapproval inquiry" form they link you to on your disapproved emails. 9/10 of my dating ads get disapproved but they all get reapproved within a few hours of sending that form. It's like they're throwing darts blindfolded for approvals.
These insta-disapproved shit has been getting really frequent as of late. Theyre like the URL destination cannot be found etc. etc. bullshit. Fuckers still hasn't gotten back to me about the billing.

Dude they really need to change the campaign/ad spent option. They should have 2. All time and Today. It's really annoying not knowing how much you spent for that particular campaign/ad when you have like 300+ :s

Give it 30 mins or so, I wasn't getting any traffic either when bidding in the suggested range.
If it's dating, you'll have to increase your bid like 3-4x the suggested amount, or more. Like I've been saying for the past week, dating is _totally saturated_ on FB and as a result, they are throttling impressions. Non-dating ads get impressions in a heartbeat, within the bid range. I think I got like 200K impression in less than 5 minutes on a non-dating US ad.
