new favorite show: History - The Men Who Built America

Maybe the next show can be about the importance of women in building America? Maybe call it "The women who fucked & sucked the men that built America "?

I hope you know Storage Wars is 100% staged and fake...

I figured some of it would be staged, but not all of it. My assumption was if the locker didn't have good stuff in it then they'd plant some stuff, but if it did then they got lucky and didn't have to stage it.

I knew a guy who did this years ago and he did alright. He didn't get rich doing it, but he didn't need a normal job to support himself so I know it is possible to make a living doing that. He'd also barter a lot.

yeah i like watching this show...............

Henry Frick is the most gangster dude I ever heard of

Got shot from a distance...... Got stabbed up close... then still beat his attacker, a full grown man.... unconcious LOL.......................... King Kong got nothing on Frick

Guess God Made a Clear Winnerthere

Caught an episode last night and loved it. In fact, I loved it so much that I watched the rest of the marathon until it was time to hit the sack.

The show has the quality that you'd find on an AMC series. Real top notch production. In fact, much of the time, I was wondering how they could afford to make such a show seeing that they have to re-create the sets to look that that of the old days.

As for Frick...I hated the guy. Those steel workers should've brought guns to work that day to deal with the Pinkertons and Frick himself.

Anyhow, can't wait to watch the rest of the series.

The History Channel should probably check their spelling...

My favorite was The Commodore. guys just fucking awesome. I thought his part of the series was the best and most dramatic. Him and JP.

I had all of these saved on DVR but they got written over cause I forgot to fucking save them.

Time for History Channel to do a rerun.

Meh, I'm not going to lie - I was a little disappointed with the series...

I have done quite a bit of research and reading on these characters in the past, so that may have been one of the reasons my expectations for the series wasn't met.

If you want to learn more about these people, here are some great bios to read. Some of them are long, but they are the kinds of books that you start and can't put down. I personally own and recommend all of them.

(They are listed in order of preference...)

^House of Morgan isn't specifically about J.P. but about the business as a whole, up until the late 80's. This books was OK, but not as good as the others...

Whatever, bro...
