they sure do, their 293 alexa says so.

they're still around because they're like the kleenex of maps, people don't say "oh, just google map it" they say "oh, just mapquest it"

I've found that more females use mapquest. "Google maps" seems intimidating to them.. i think because Google has a geekier branding to it.

I'd analyze more but I really don't give a fuck, mapquest sucked nuts for 10 years and i'm not going to switch now

Not since I got an iPhone. Although when I think of getting directions I think of mapquest.
