Very much looking forward to this movie. Too bad it was postponed from December 2012 to June 2013. I'm not really sure what to think of the fact that they had the third and final act rewritten. Doesn't sound good, although it was done by Damon Lindelof and Drew Goddard.
really weird that all Zombies are either very slow or the new very fast/strong variety.
Why not have a "normal human, but undead" variety.

I fucking hate zombies ... my heart is racing after watching that trailer.

I don't know why everyone gets all hyped up about movies that aren't coming out for months. I just torrent whatever has the most seeders on my private tracker and usually it's some awesome ass movie that I've never heard of cause I don't watch TV or pay attention to/unmute YouTube pre-roll ads.
But now you made me watch this trailer and I kinda wanna see it and now I have to wait like forever. Thanks a lot!

I watched the trailer, and one thing that struck me is that the zombies were almost always shown as a teaming mass of unthinking, fast-moving meat eaters - kinda like maggots on a corpse. There were no real close-in shots of any zombies nor any zombie-on-human one-on-ones.
This makes me wonder how good the zombies will actually be represented. Piles and piles of CGI zombies are not scary. Exciting in an action movie sense, sure. But they won't instill any dread, which to me is necessary in any true zombie movie.

Looks like they bought the rights to the book and then only used the title. I'm finding it hard to give a fuck about this film.
