New Zoogz Termz?

To be clear, I'm not talking about trash traffic. Gift card/ stolent CCs, etc are fuckin bullshit. BUT if I'm driving good solid proven traffic, I should be paid for it. Period.

I can't find any excuses right now.. not that the above networks are - but networks are supposed to absorb the risks between the advertisers and affiliates. If you're driving solid traffic and the advertiser skips their bill, we would at least you pay in full and then deal with the crooks legally. Depending on your history with the network and the amount of volume pushed, covering the costs of the traffic bought is another equally reasonable thing to do.

So you want it to come out of the network's pocket if the advertiser defaults?

Most definitely, that's mostly how networks earn there cut in my mind and most affiliates I know. That and paying us fast.

It's not "out of the network's pocket" it should come out of the substantial portion of there net revenue they should be setting aside each month just for that purpose. Which came out of OUR pocket in the first place.

All networks have to have it in the terms that they have the option not to pay though, that's just how business is. I'm sure if you do serious volume and it's a huge concern for you some networks would be willing to give you a contract that words things a bit differently, or simply pay you daily.

Honestly, yes. Why are we letting the network take a $X0,000 cut from our earnings every year? Not so they can parade around bimbo AMs at ASW. We expect them to properly vet the advertisers' financials and shoulder the risk of a poor screening process. If they are not going to perform this function than what value do they provide?

Yep. They are there to take the risk and to take a cut. It's really unfortunate we have so many advertisers in this industry that just don't pay for legitimate traffic.
