I would suggest finding some reflective xss vuns on .edu/.gov domains and then pointing links from your site to theirs with the xss vun in the url so that when google crawls your site it gets those urls and visits them...which in turn has your URL with your keywords in the page source earning you backlinks... at least I think that would work.

That carries a risk of landing you in jail.

Probing for and exploiting XSS vulnerabilities for SEO benefits could be seen as breaching the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (US), or Computer Misuse Act (UK).

Potentially committing a felony and leaving a huge clue as to who you are by pointing links owned to a site that you own (faked WHOIS information etc notwithstanding) doesn't seem like a smart thing to do.

I know that it seems pretty unlikely they would come after you, but with the authorities quite as hysterical as they are about hacking at the moment, would you really want to risk it? I can't speak for the US, but the UK authorities would probably try and get you under anti-terrorism laws if you XSS'd a government site and they found out.

Stick to doing things that will cause a Google ban at worst if you get caught.

I heard that if you use these things called "doorway pages" and stuff them with keywords, you'll get #1 rank in all the best search engines like Altavista & Hotbot.

Is that true?
LOL
so funny how some newbies make the basics sound so advanced:)
