Nicki Minaj's Va Va Boom

this shit is toxic, fucking hate this commercial crap.

Every time I hear this kind of shit I'm reminded how it just kind of lulls you into this state of la-la-la apathy hey-everything's-okay - even if you don't like it. Pop artists like that today have their producers to thank, who know just the kind of blasé melody, hook and production techniques to make garbage like this get in people's earholes until the next track is ready.

At least, that's what I think. ;)

It's the same with food. Earlier it was food growing/production. Now it is systematic/artificial manufacturing. Just wait for meat made in labs.

And with the music - earlier the musicians put their souls/themselves into the music to create something. Now they have a team of dozen people who know how to create the next catchy jingle that will hit radios and MTV. Fuck it. This is music manufacturing, not creativity. And labels are making mad money from it.

well, now i'm all for automation, but this horse shit reminds me of the worst sort of fast food. feels lke i'm literally losing neurons when i listen to it.

this song sucks ass she has a terrible voice. The beat is a little bit catchy but her voice doesnt match the type of song.

That was a manufactured auditory abortion and I hope those responsible meet a grotesque and bloody end.

Every time I turn on the radio I understand what goes through a person's head before committing genocide.

That song was just generic shite.

The Eric Prydz song had some merit though. He's released some cool stuff over the years, esp. under his Cirez D alias:

Listening again, it sounds virtually indistinguishable from any of the other brain numbing music found in most shopping malls today. It's designed to stupefy. Oh well. No money to the artist or labels from me for this trash.

If "producers" would spend a little more time learning how music and chord progressions actually work instead of trend-chasing and downloading plugins to disguise the utterly boring material they produce as something worthwhile, we might actually have something worthwhile to listen to.

If you strip away all the flash on this track and play it on a piano it is a total failure. However, the industry has gotten really good at shining shit so it looks like gold, and as we all know, the public will buy anything they are told to.
