Of course there's propaganda, but they can't just outright lie. Everything they say that's happened has actually happened. NK did test fire a missile, conducted a nuclear test, the leader and media have said / reported everything that's been mentioned, etc. If they outright lie, then media outlets in places like Russia, China, Middle East, or South America will pick up on it, and immediately call the US out. Then thanks to things like Reddit and social media, we'd all know about it within 12 hours.
Of course they put a spin on things though, and also omit certain trivial details like the WHY of the situation. Ever notice they say NK is acting up due to the war games and sanctions, and the sanctions have "bit them hard", and that's it? Never say another word about the sanctions other than that.
I haven't even looked at what the sanctions are myself, but I would imagine it's an important detail. Did the US maybe structure these sanctions in a certain way with the intention of provoking NK into starting a war? Isn't that also basically why Japan attacked Pearl Harbor? The US embargoed them, and forced Japan into a corner.
