So a couple weeks ago I was scrolling through BHW (I know i know). And came across a thread explaining a simple method that newbies can use to earn some cash. Here it is in a nutshell:

1)Find a CPA offer that converts well. ie. something like weightloss

2) Use google alerts to notify you when your keyword has been searched for.

3)Leave convincing comments about your rapid success on blogs/YA!/forums with "your" email.

4)When people email you, use an autoresponder to reply with your amazing results and convincing before/after photos or whatever. Include link to affiliate.

6)Have another delayed autoresponder "check up" on your victim and try to upsell whatever you sold...

7) Rinse repeat and do this on thousands of sites...

Here is the extension of the link if you wanna check out the original post

of course the bhw domain goes before it

not sure when i'll be able to post links or if i'm even allowed to do that yet... but yeah what do you guys think? does this sound like a decent method?

lol I know what you mean... but idk it might be helpful for newbies that need some extra cash to help kickstart their legitimate AM pursuits...

So... did you make more money trying that method, or did you make more money asking about it on a forum? Report back, please. I'm a newbie that needs money, so let me know if you have some extra you can send me. PM grindstone for my address.

haha well, quite frankly... I'm working on my own thing right now. Following the guidelines of CCarter, thehobbster and other's advice on the forum. I just posted it here because it seemed interesting, and something other newbies might be able to try if they need extra cash. Obviously I didn't try the method, hence why I'm posting and asking for opinions... If I had tried it I would have just said well, this method works. Anyway, I totally get what you're saying and I appreciate the direction of your post. "ALWAYS BE TESTING" :)

This method will work - no reason for it not to. But as a newbie, stop looking at these things as methods and think about why and how they work. The best way to do that is to try it yourself and see what obstacles you run into. Then move on as quickly as you can into more legitimate online businesses.

Through the years I've learned that practically ANY "method" works if you are persistent and devote time to it. But I've also discovered that "methods" start working wonders once you stop calling them that and refer to them as "business" (and start acting up on them as such of course).

Seriously, I know the word "method" is jargon, but it saddens me how most newbies are after "methods" easy to implement to make a quick buck and how few of them ask "what tips can you give me on how to setup an online BUSINESS that will generate revenue for me for months and years to come?".

After some time, one quickly learns (if you don't want to follow the 9-to-5 route) that it's a running BUSINESS that puts food on your table day in and day out, and not a METHOD.

This. There has to be a funnel in place with an overall plan. This could work well using a little automation to scale large enough. Find which platforms most frequently show up for alerts. Then build out some bots to respond on the page that sets off the alert on that platform(WP, Yahoo, Forums whatever). I like Python + Splinter as its easy as shit to whip something up quick and you can interact with JS in a headless browser.

Read more here about splinter: here
Decent noobie Python Guide: here

If this is still to hard there is Ubot and macros...

But spending all day manually commenting on shit from alerts does not seem scalable or a good use of your time in any way. Giver yourself the edge. automate. and you will beat out every fucker trying your above "method".

How do u set up alerts for Google searches. I have done it for news b4

Ffs let me google that EXACT phrase for you.

Any of the results on the top fold will explain it...You won't even have to move your eyes, just click like a flailing spastic and you'll eventually hit a link. When you see the page load, you will then have to read the content on the page. Best of luck.

PM dieinafireyoulazytwat if you still can't figure it out

@slowboiled..... I really was expecting the Google hammer....

But I followed your advise and got this:

"Google Alerts will not do exactly what you asked for. It will not tell you when or who is doing a search on your name, it will only tell you about new content on the web that matches your alert criteria. A web search is not the same as content.

If somebody created a blog with your name in it, then you might get an alert on that type of activity."

So basically ; you cannot set up an alert like the op said

rather than to sell other people's product using undignified method,
I prefer to ask $1 to each people in this forum. that would be easy >$1000

cheers.
