Noob Threads like "Hey all, just joined today!"

.My point is that I've been here at WF for a few years. I've seen my fair share (100+) threads from "newcomers". Every such thread has been responded to in the same way :
1) with a dickroll (which I obviously support since I invented it)
2) with a meme-insult
I cannot and will not argue with case 1.
Case 2, I see no point for other than a waste of time. If you are going to post something that says "You are an idiot", you're assuming that you are greater than the idiot. Why even waste your time then if you're the better person?

I'm convinced 90% of the newbie threads are started by longtime members. They're bored, and trolling for attention.
Every time the threads load up with gtfo's, I always think, "You guys are falling for this shit again? Didn't you just fall for it on Tuesday? What's wrong with you people?"

Yeah but the 'noobs' that respond to these type of threads are many times 'regular posters'. The irony in this entire thread is calling these so-called 'regulars' 'noobs' by injecting that only a newbile idiot would waste their time responding to the thread of a 'complete noob', ie someone who is to say "Hey all! Just saying hi!"

SUP3RNOVA, imagine what would happen if threads like "hi, I'm new and want to say hello" would not get any respond. Soon you will see many of them. Any new members seeing person abused for being an idiot, or whatever the reason, know there is no space for posting shit on WF or shit is generally not accepted. It saves WF against hundreds of shitty threads.
