Things you shouldn't do while at/near a hacker conference, and why:

1) Use an ATM (your card will be stolen)
2) Use a cell phone (calls will be monitored)
3) Use an elevator (will you get anywhere?)
4) Use wifi (fuck encryption, they're getting your data anyway)
5) Be a woman (unless you like constant Star Wars/Star Trek pickup lines)

Sat in on an ethical hacking debate with four white hat info sec guys. Generally speaking you should stick to number 4 anywhere that's not your home was what I picked up.(cause if they go after you there...really what the hell did you do to piss them off?) Or just avoid logging into anything. (ie The twitter app on iphone/pads sends your login info in plain text)
