You're right. In making fun of W, people were actually comparing him to a chimpanzee, whereas Obama is not featured at all in the NYpost cartoon (please remember, Pelosi wrote the bill...), unless you consider him chimp-like, you racist.
I wouldn't be surprised if Obama wasn't even offended by the cartoon. Its all the other attention whores that are up in a tissy. I haven't even seen him use the race card, just everyone else including his wife does.
This black / white shit is so lame. A friend of mine was talking the other day asking what the fuck is caucasian anyway? Its a valid point. Speaking for myself, my grandparents moved here from Italy to NYC, long after the slavery we hear about on the show Roots. They were poor as fuck and would go so far as to shine shoes to pay living expenses.

I'm black, and I'll tell you that Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and all the relics of the old movements are the biggest race baiters. I applaud the work they did in the past, the problem with them is they still think it's 1963. The work has been done, is racism and prejudice still alive? Sure, but it's no longer the dominant issue it was over 40 years ago, this country has evolved, and so has opportunities for just about anyone regardless of color.
I personally feel like a I wanna spit in Sharptons face, because he does more to hurt blacks than help. Just about anyone with drive, determination, and the ability to learn can turn on their computer, connect to the internet and make money irregardless of race. That alone is a testament to how far we have come.
