So I can go out in the streets with a Obama dummy hanging on a noose? So I can carry a sign down the street calling for his death? Fuck no I can't and you know it. Don't play stupid. I have been to HuffPost today and have had all the "stupid" that I can handle for one day.

Many people who claim to be libertarians, are not libertarians. They are conservative-lite. Very few, understand what libertarianism is as a political philosophy.
How does speech infringe on anyone elses rights? Do you own the opinion that others have of you? Do you own their thoughts?

The right to free speech, is actually a property right, as all rights are derived from self-ownership and control of property.
Free speech is an absolute principle. I don't approve of violent speech, I think it is counterproductive and immoral, but when you start to censor any speech, you have effectively censored all speech, because you have destroyed the principle.
I don't think any crimes we're committed by the application's creator here. However, I think he stepped extremely close to a line that would SUCK if crossed.
Whoever put that poll up is an idiot. I hope it was just some 13 year old being a smartass and that he won't get in huge trouble for it. But whoever did it is going to have a bit of a scare having the secret service standing in his living room.

It's funny - I heard so many people say George Bush should be killed while he was President. I saw signs implying or insinuating, or in some cases, outright portraying the death of Bush. I just wish there would be some equal criticism in cases like this.
The only reason we notice it is because it's so isolated. In Bush's case, it was like "Oh, another loonie who wants to kill Bush? Carry on.." With Obama, we haven't been desensitized to it yet.

How come this poll was approved, and we can't get normal Facebook ads approved? Polls don't receive scrutiny from the ads approval droids?
