OBESITY IS A DISEASE?

...but not that simple. Starving yourself (or dropping to a very low calorie intake is counter-productive.)

Yeah, because then your body just saves the fat, and eats the muscles instead. If you're starving yourself, the first thing your body is going to save is the fat tissue.

Anyway, being fat is hardly a disease, at least in 99.95% of the cases. I should start a new 100% guaranteed weight loss retreat program. Send them to a small village in Kenya somewhere for a year, and I bet they lose weight.

If you are stressed out at work, you can go to a dr, state you are stressed out, claim workers compensation if you are eligible, and or get paid time off because of disability.

Imagine all the fat people at work who cant work correctly because they are fat, immediate days off/time off from work, etc etc.

Usa bitches.

I always thought it would be a good idea to make all the fat people at a grocery store park way the fuck out at the end of the parking lot. Unfortunately, when I realized they'd all start going to Costco/Sams more often because they could get more on one trip, beat the purpose...

Even Bill Gates realized lazy people are the best hires, they figure the way out so they can go back to being lazy.

Back to the drawing board.

there is a fat woman in my office parking lot that has no medical issues, but gets a "disabled sticker" because she is fat and doesn't want to walk.

nothing makes me more disgusted than this.

/agreed. pisses me off every time I see one of those tools get out in the front row somewhere and lolly gag inside, unscathed one bit, just sweating because they can't pull their weight around. sickening.

lol good point but fat people are only creative to the point that will help them do less work "i.e. i can use this broom to push the remote to the couch so i don't have to get up."

not:

"lets program a function to make this faster"

i actually know of someone who has a gland problem that literally cannot control his weight - he is one of the most motivated people ive ever met.

if there is an established issue, and the person isn't just giving up on life, then I can appreciate it. that takes guts. I'm one to applaud the fat person on the treadmill at the gym. just not when they leave they gym and hit up Krispy Kreme.

HI, I’M GEORGE ZIMMER – FOUNDER AND (FORMER) CEO OF THE MEN’S WEARHOUSE. OP... I WOULD LIKE TO FUCK YOU NICE AND DEEP IN THE SHOWER – YOUR FIST CLENCHING HALF OF MY COCK AT THE BASE WHILE THE OTHER HALF SLOWLY PENETRATES YOU. YOU WILL BE BLINDFOLDED WITH A HAIR FULL OF SHAMPOO WHILE RECITING THE LYRICS TO THE BEATLES’ ROCKY RACOON. WHEN YOU GET TO THE PART ABOUT GIDEON’S BIBLE, I WILL IGNITE MY COCK FUSE AND BLOW A LOAD SO HUGE YOU’LL GROW AN ADAM’S APPLE.

I GUARANTEE IT.

The problem isn't just laziness and self control, but also our food supply. When someone that makes $10.00 per hour goes to the grocery store and has 4 kids to feed, do you think they going for the fresh produce section? Nope, they are buying shit that is super cheap, processed garbage. Not real food.

Not making excuses for people who are fat though. When I look at overweight people, I automatically think they are just lazy and apathetic. There are things in life you can control, and there are things you can't. Being fat is one thing you can control 99% of the time.

I think this is a lame argument for eating poorly. Buying a family of 4 prepossessed food, frozen dinners and shit like that, isn't cheaper than buying fresh ingredients and preparing the food yourself. But that's the reason right there... they ARE too lazy, or just plain stupid, to prepare the food themselves. It's so much easier to throw 4 frozen dinners in the microwave than chopping and cooking your fresh ingredients into something the family will like.

ok sure... it is a disease and being stupid is hereditary....
