Well, we seem to pick up a raison du jour about once a month around here.

We just finished fucking over that car loan asshole, and we've already gotten on to PETA: http://www.wickedfire.com/shooting-shit/50256-who-doesnt-love-peta.html#post451262
So it seems to me that regardless of which side of the political spectrum WF members are on, there ARE things we can all agree on as being worthy of scorn.

Erect came up with the fantastic suggestion of starting a list of who we should give a PR nightmare to. I think we can agree on the following list so far:


  • PETA
  • KKK
  • Gary Thiem
  • Online Marketing "Gurus"
  • The other WF (as much as I like to trawl for affiliates & suckers there, most of the people shit me to tears)


Please feel free to contribute to that list, but try to think of something that's a non-partisan issue. i.e. It CANNOT be US politics.
It's probably going to have to be some scumbag that pops up in the news, and is clearly guilty of some sort of malfeasance that causes a lot of people to suffer: Kenneth Lay is a great example.

Conversely, if there's someone we should be raising to the top of the SERP for some reason, I suppose you can suggest that too. i.e. Penn & Teller for the keyword "Magicians" (how can you not like them?)

I get the feeling for the most part this is just going to be google bombing, but in a slightly more natural way.

To say PETA or the KKK are more resonable than the $700 billion banker bail out is naive. There that race, and tree huggers are more important that our economy getting destroyed is foolish. I'm not all for total politics but some stuff needs to be very brought to light.

Anyways, to contribute, I suggest we add scientology to the list.
 
Considering that so many more people are looking at making money online with the "economic crisis" making life so hard for them, my vote goes to screwing with "The Other WF." Take a shot at showing people worthwhile means of making an income online, if they're so inclined. There really is so much crap out there.

Heh... I should write an ebook.
 
Rage9: I'm not saying the US economy is less important. I'm saying stuff like that is a partisan issue.
You can't be united and work on something together if people just don't agree.
Things like the car loan asshole was something we all worked on together, because it was non-partisan.
