Hello,

Newcomer checking in. I am both a WF and general SEO novice, but by no means does that hold true for writing in general. I've been writing online in some form for almost ten years, have been reviewing games for various websites since 2004 and even worked for a local newspaper in 2005 and 2006 as a proofreader for online submissions. I also contributed some articles of my own.

To test the waters, I'd like to offer my services to four different members of the board, free of charge. One article per person, each 500 words. In return, I would ask only that you be kind enough to post some feedback in this thread so that others may view your assessments.

Below are some examples of subjects that I have a foundation in already:

Politics and International Relations / Current Affairs (Mideast especially)
Tech
History
Gaming
MMA
Health, Nutrition & Alternative Medicine

However, just about any subject that one can comment on intelligently and coherently - with the help of some quick research - is fair game for a 500 word article. Do keep in mind, though, that if you currently or will in the future have a need for lengthy and more deeply-researched content on any of those subjects, I am very willing to explore that avenue as well. So now might be a good time to get a taste of my style and see if it's something you'd be interested in.

Absolutely no adult-oriented or ethically suspect topics.

Please PM me with one topic you'd like an article on. Feel free to post here as well. When I've accepted four of the proposals, I will post something to verify that. I'll complete the articles in the order that they were requested.

Thanks,

dn

I'll take one on Iranian elections. Subject : How could it affect the stability of the region around Iran ?

Got an email ? Cos pm's are not available to you.

OK, didn't know about the PM requirement.

Send to dnizseo@gmail.com until PM's are available.

EDIT: Just noting that the Iranian elections will do fine as article #1. Biggest challenge there will be squeezing everything into 500 words. Cheers.

Any chance to get a product review kinda article?

Depends (this is one area that I'm unsure about as a novice, so bear with me).

Are you talking about an advertisement-type article, a general information article or a me-giving-my-opinion-type piece?

I'd probably be okay with the first two, but the last one I don't think I'd feel comfortable with unless I was giving an honest opinion. Just something I feel I should stand by as a game reviewer.

I got my article about two hours after ordering it.

What I can say is that this guy writes really good stuff.

The level of English is advanced, he has a good knowledge of the subject but first and foremost, he has the knowledge of the vocabulary that applies, and uses it really well.

Good ability to make the most of a short text (500 words really is small to talk about Iran, it's a subject that could lead to easy 2000+ words papers), good ability to keep the most important facts at the center of the debate, good ability to shoot on the side also, allowing the user to open up to more questions, and probably furthering the interest.

I will definitely order from him in the future if I need content for my future website.

I received my article in a little over 2 hours after placing the order. The article is well-written, the grammar is good, and I saw no obvious errors. Everything flows nicely and keeps the readers attention.

Reading the article, I'd just assume the the writer was a native English speaker due to the quality - and you know how rare that is these days with article writers.

Overall, I'll definitely be looking into ordering more articles.

A++ would order again.

Thanks guys!

I've gotten all 4 freebie slots filled up for the moment, but will be posting some info on rates very soon.

The article received was very well written, proper grammatical structure, no spelling errors or typos, and correct punctuation.

The topic, which is somewhat obscure and dry, was written in an informative and interesting manner to hold the reader's interest.

Review: dnizari did a great job on my article. It reads pretty well for a product kinda type of article. Not the 500 words he said in his first post but around nearly 300. I am still happy with it as its written plain and simple for an easy reading. Heads up to him.
