Thank you very much MyOwnDemon that was absolutely what I was looking for.

As for Cashflowrusty's suggestion about making sure to don't direct from the landing page to the affiliate's offer, but instead bounce them to a second page...

That's exactly what I was hearing from a couple of people, and just wanted to confirm.

DOES google LET YOU you a direct link from your landing page to the affiliate, or is that considered arbitrage?

Arbitrage is the process of getting clicks on low cost keywords(AdWords) and selling at a higher price, like AdSense.

What you are talking about is affiliate marketing. Yes, you are still getting the cloicks for a low price, but offering links to offers that will make you money.

The point is that as long as you offer something MORE than just the links, make it a good user experience as far as G is concerned, then you should be in the clear.

Heck, linking to offers is what every page does. You just should not link DIRECTLY (or a refresh/timed refresh) to an offer. This, a good experience, does not make, per G.

You'd think it's that simple. But others in this forms (and one friend of mine) have had their AD banned because you landed on their page, and at the bottom was a link DIRECTLY to the advertiser. Is THAT Arbitrage? or why is google banning that?

To quote myself:

Was the site a good user experience? Did it have multiple pages of content? Did it have Contact, Terms, Disclaimer, About, Whatever-else-G-likes-to-see? Was the keyword/phrase bid on also mentioned in the AdWords ad, and on the page the ad pointed to? And was it in the TITLE tag, the H1, and possibly in the H2, not to mention the content?

I don't know your friends, or the others on the forum who have had their ads banned, but these are things that I have seen hurt me. Fix them, and your ad is golden. I fixed one 'site' before Xmas and was getting '[purchase keyword] wii" keywords like "buy wii" "where to buy a wii" "nintendo wii in stock" and even "wii in stock" for $0.02/click, and hung at 2nd-4th ad on the page through Xmas. THAT was a freakin' trip. Super targeting. Only site I have really pounded everything I have learned here on and it paid off for me. Now to do it on other sites...
