So all i can say is fuck this newspaper right now. I'm doing a school project and we have to market a promotion for a business. So i figure i'll throw up an advert in the local newspaper for $20 for the week just for good measure.

sure enough i check my bank statement tonite and i see it looks a little lower than expected ... so i check the statement and see a withdrawal for $1835 from this newspaper!!!

some fuckhead.. probably the kid i gave my CC number to, probably fucked up a decimal at some point and charged me $1810 more than i should have fucking paid!

i'm callin them immediately tomorrow, but this is just fucking stupid and i hate stupid fucking retards .. i cant wait to call and bitch at them tomorrow.

"How about we just keep it as a tab and run your ad for 91.75 weeks!"
 
i called them this morning ... i didn't even have to mention my name and they immediately knew what happend. they told me they refunded it friday.. but i have yet to see the money so we'll see what happned

but htye new they fucked up bad
 
Refunds generally take 5-7 business days to show in your account. People fuck up, they admitted it. No reason to assume it won't be back in your account.
 
This is one of many reasons to always use credit cards. I am assuming this was debit card? No reason to take money out of the bank to pay for shit, until its time to pay card bills. Ive been fucked a couple times when using my last dollar to buy something needed- turned out defective and had to return and then had to wait a week to buy a good one.
