Remember the wiring on airplanes is built IN, when you are flying in an older plane all those wires have been there for years and years. Its quite scary.

Yep, agree with this. In the 15 years I've been driving, the number of times I've been a single manoeuvre or a bit of blind luck away from a serious accident is scary. It's only because we have control of a car we think it's safe.
