it ain't an easy time to have that job. love or hate the guy's performance (you can't love or hate him... you don't know him), you'd have to agree that no matter the political philosophy behind the effort, managing a country with a work force that's overpaid and undereducated (generalization, but with #s behind it to back it up), and a world filled with countries that can't fucking make up their minds about direction, etc, etc... it's not that easy a gig right now.
 
I feel for Obama the man, not the position. Obama took on not only the US's crisis, but literally the entire world's problems, as America usually has their hands in everything, and much of the world is still very reliant on the US.

The system is bigger than the President. He is a figurehead, similar to a CEO, offering authority without proof.

My Opinion:
In all reality, I feel religion is mainly the #1 concern for the entire human species. Sure, wars have been fought over land, crops, and gold, but enduring wars seem to be based on one's religion.

Now I don't really have a problem with the idea of worshiping a deity, but I really feel that if such a deity existed, it would by no means want you to eliminate your fellow man.

And as most governments are based on morality, and being good to your fellow man, it's plausible that we could combine all governments into one.

Corruption is everywhere, but it's our job as good men and women, to combat that with just and right motivation.
