Man, I miss the 80s. Well, OK, maybe just the music of the 80s... Glad to see I'm not the only one that thinks the music of today is just boring and "cookie cutter". If I hear another Emo song I'm gonna pop.

Anything off of Licensed to Ill - Beastie Boys

Wore that tape out, literally . . .

I actually really enjoy the vagina, so this thread wasn't doing it for me the first time I checked it out. I'm glad to see some Metallica finally made it in near the bottom of the first page.

I didn't look at every video, but I wouldn't be surprised if you homos posted some Boy George and WAM... and were secretly serious about it!

Did the KLF make it across the pond?

<object height="350" width="425">

Check out the mad shit Bill Drumond's doing now!

Yeah, KLF made it over here.....their first song (self titled?) was pretty big. 'Justified and Ancient' got some decent playtime but never hit it big. IIRC, that was it for KLF over here. Their sound stands up well over time. Were they big in the UK?

Yeah they were big-ish I guess... I loved them anyway! Still listen to them, still sounds good. Especially the chill out stuff. Really want to try to get to one of Bill Drummonds shows - his stuff is mad! (Is God a cunt?)

The hits here were 3am eternal, What Time is Love, Justified and Ancient and...

As The TimeLords:

Cheers for the Guns 'n' Roses. Amazed no one posted any before :D

Gotta love the synth on the the Mr Mister song! Thought I only knew Broken Wings.. but love that one too!

Metallica with Dave Mustaine as lead vocals. That's right kids, James Hetfield was not the original vocalist. Mustaine got booted because of a drinking problem and temper.

Ride the Lightning w. Dave Mustaine

Actually that is James Hetfield singing with Dave playing lead guitar, although Dave was in the band he was never lead singer.
