Where havent I lived
Hey,

I dont have much experience hiring people, and I managed to get most of the work I have had in the past through networking and didn't go through much of an interview process.

This is the job posting for a writer for some slightly spammy blogs I run. If I can get some feedback on this and some pointers on what else to look for that would be great.

As a junior blog writer in my company, you will be required to write unique articles on topics I give you. If you work well for our company, there may be opportunity for job training and further promotion. This is a job position for a junior writer who is willing to work for around $1 per hour.

Qualifications:

- Excellent english reading comprehension.

- Ability to research and write about topics that are new to you.
- Ability to meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Ambition to work hard and make money.

We accept applicants interested in fulltime or part-time work.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Submit the following information and answer the questions below.

English test 1 - Write a paragraph about your hometown or country that might make me want to visit.

English test 2 - Find spelling and grammar errors in this job description and correct them.

Also include your resume and any samples of your writing you can.

Answer these questions:

1) How many hours a week would you like to work?
2) What salary are you hoping for?
3) Are you currently working for anyone else?
4) What qualifies you to do this job?
5) How long did it take you to write the paragraph about your hometown?

$1 per hour? yeesh good luck with getting anyone that gives good quality work. than again it is for a spammy blog so it shouldn't matter.

From personal experience the only thing I can suggest is to, in addition to filling this out, is actually have a face to face interview (which almost always happens on webcam). you set out a specific time, take into account different time zones, and see if the potential employee makes an effort to show up on time, looks appropriate and submit's sample works etc.

Anyways good luck mate, hope that helps

you can also put in the end

if you have read this till the end please write me back
"READY"

you will be suprised how many bidders don't read your message till the end
