The FreeRepublicers decided Fox was too liberal the past week.
And they got angry because of a few even slightly critical comments about Palin(that forum is a bukkakefest over her all day today).

Hilarity will be ensuing in the Republican party soon. Infighting=why this is happening I think.
 


I thought you guys became friends(subigo and popeye). I was just reading "best of Popeye" thread. Guess not.

I have a feeling Obama wont accomplish shit in the next four years. The real world unfortunately isn't all theory. Plus he doesn't really have the right experience or economic fundamentals. I have a feeling the real estate and mortgage melt down will continue for the next 2-4 years, maybe around 2010 will start to see some light. But new construction wont recover for years (lots of jobs there). Meanwhile most people I talked to that supported Obama are expecting something from him now. If he doesn't deliver he wont get reelected. People voted for the idea of Obama, after the last 4 years I can understand why some needed a messiah. I'm waiting for the Republicans to get back to their core values. 53 to 46 popular vote is pretty close with a McCain campaign that was ran like shit.

I came from he bottom, and I still wonder how I got so comfortable at such a young age. All I gotta say is God Bless America.

lol... I've posted a total of two political threads, ever. They just happened to both be in the span of 24 hours. Not to mention I already stated above that I was done with political threads.

Republicans don't give a shit about facts or even being correct. Bush once referred to Africa as a country. These are the type of people Republicans identify with. Intellectualism is a dirty word to them and they like to keep things simple. In fact, go back through videos of Palin's speeches and you'll hear her refer to herself as a simple person.

This is all amazing when you consider that the US was conceived of and implemented by intellectuals of their day who pretty much read, wrote, and embraced the enlightenment.

Sarah reminds me of the girl I dated in college. Perky, bright in more of an "emotional intelligence" not book intelligence way. Insanely popular gal who had a huge circle of friends. I think maybe the same rules applied here. Take someone cute, moderately bright, who can "work" people really well and they tend to move ahead.

Doesn't mean they're a rocket scientist, though. Doesn't mean they should be a heartbeat away from the Presidency of one of the most powerful nations in the world.

My ex is now supposedly running a beauty parlor. Seems like the perfect career for her and Palin.

Sarah Palin was selected to try to suck in the Hillary supporters and even out the "First XYZ in the White House" marvel. Is Africa a continent or country? Anyone who defends Palin after that fact surfaced needs to join her as cast members on "Are You As Stupid As Kindergardner" or whatever that dumbass show is called.

Sorry, but this whole "The US needs to defend Israel" thing really shits me.
If the US backed the hell out of the Middle East, militarily speaking, and let Israel resolve it's own force-of-arms shit, things wouldn't be half as bad as they are now.
Israel loves the money, but it can do just fine without extra "peace keeping" forces in the region. They did just fine during the 6 Day War... In fact, they did more than fine, they captured a metric arseload of land from surrounding aggressors.
