Paranoid About Adsense Account

Before I dump a bunch of money into arbitrage I was wondering if anyone has been banned from adsense for it? Do most of you use just one account? or a number of accounts? Will they send a warning first? or just ban you outright.

The reason I am paranoid is the fact that I got banned last year when my friend clicked 22 times on my add when he found out I made money from it. They let me back in but I lost the $$.

I dont know if I am over paranoid but I would like to know for sure before I throw a bunch of $$ into the pot.

If an arbitrage site gets a hand review, will it pass?

Yeah, Adsense doesn't really have a clear policy statement on this issue, i mean, they will surely smartprice you or rip you off, but is banninations part of this? and do they ban your site(s), or your whole account?

The reason i'm asking this as well is because i'm doing decent money with my current non-arbitrage sites and would be worried.

Just my first that will take a 10k investment to make...
 
How about if you don't dump 10k into it all at the start? (I'm not sure how you'd do that anyway unless you can build hundreds of pages a day).
Start smaller and build up, and by the time you're spending big bucks, you'll have had a couple of payouts from it already.

Or do it with a separate account. Register a new business, or do it under your own name if your current one is under a business, rent a mailbox cheap if you need a new address (or use a relative).
 
i don't think you'll be able to spend 10k/month for a while anyhow, like waz said. it takes a while and bit of experience to spend $333 or so a day.
 
Well I've been spending the last few days automating the whole process because Im a programmer... But mabye ill start slowly and wait to recoup my initial investment.

I'm surprised you got banned since your friend was most likely clicking from the same IP. G has to have things in place to detect this. If not there would be idiots clicking on adds non stop all day just to get people banned.
 
maybe he forget to tell us his "friend" was at his house on his computer? Maybe they can tell it was an IP close to his location, hence even more suspicion?
 
He wasnt on my IP but I logged on numerous times from his computer so I figured that was the reason. But now I use a script to stop showing ads after 2 clicks from 1 IP.

well obviously if you logged in there and 22 clicks come from it... AUTO BAN
