Payday loans question...

Has anyone tried letting people apply for a payday loan with their Facebook account by any chance?

I'd imagine users would be hesitant to use it unless you made it absolutely clear that it wouldn't show up on their FB account.

Thoughts?

Everybody's a boss on Facebook. Everyone's a hustler over there.

While applying for a payday loan online is a recourse taken in a period of crunch. Not many are proud of it (or about loans of any form). These decisions are often taken behind closed doors. Yes, there are habitual borrowers, but that's a different section altogether.

The point is, most people will shy away from linking their Facebook account with anything that has to do with them borrowing money. So it doesn't work. No matter how clearly you state that your site's name is not going to show up in their feeds.

Question about application form length now - has anyone noticed any difference between spreading a 5 step form over multiple pages in comparison to having it all on one page?
 
In regards to their affiliate programs, i.e. through Commission Junction? I've never used Facebook to get leads, but niche sites and such. Payday loans pay great - in the ~$75/lead range. A good amount of competition, but not too much. One of my favorite niches.

Split test and see.

Me personally, I like having things split up over multiple pages. But I need to see some sort of progress bar showing me what stage I am at, and how much is left to complete. I think it triggers some sub-conscious need to complete things and get 100%.
 
5 step is a lot of steps. Standard first page couple fields and second page full form seems to work best for me. Or cut the form in half, leave bank info on the second, that works well too.
 
Some pubs will swear by 1 page, some will swear by 2-4 pages. As others like PC indicated, split test. In the end, the consumer will dictate what flow works best.

I would take the opportunity to hook up with chipmunk if you're in this niche he helped me a ton personally with my payday. Don't think I would be making the money without his help. Also now is the time of year cuz it's payday season. ;)
