I was at the Warrior Forum the other day, and I purchased an offer some guy made about he makes a grand a month "the lazy way."

A little more background
When I got to the download page, I realized it was a video that was recorded 2 years ago! All of the sites he talked about were already defunct. Plus, the second half of the video talked about scamming people who register at job sites. (such as Monster, CareerBuilder... etc)

Several of us buyers complained to PayPal, and the seller escalated the situation, thus voiding our claims. PaypaI doesn't consider downloadable goods worthy of attention. :(

Oh, the guy went by Shoc. Buyer beware.

That's your problem right there...

Anyway, PayPal has never provided any sort of protection for services/digital goods, and even their policies on physical goods are pretty weak.

Lesson: There is no lazy way to making money online except when you are making money selling ebooks on these topics.

Ouch.. that sucks, but that's part of the game. As mentioned above, you shouldn't be wasting your time with that forum. PayPal made the obvious decision in that case.. case and point you lived and learned.

And why would you even come here to cry in the first place? You got scammed by a...lol..."Warrior"...so go cry over at the WarriorForum where you got scammed.

My post wasn't about getting scammed, it was about PayPal's policy towards digital goods, and how they (inadvertently) side with scammers.

Also, seeing how friendly this place is, is it a wonder I left? The other WF may be considered inferior to this one by the members; but it sure isn't as cynical. I guess it's just the over all air in how this forum's members communicate. It's very open, with language, post icons. It definitely isn't a beginner's IM forum.

I was here when it opened up. I saw the rush. I was aware of the rivalries Jon had. I made the suggestion to get iTrader and Reputation installed. I was here to learn. But I drifted away.

I am just getting back to the field. I am researching all angles, trying everything out. I came back here to get back into it like I never left. This post was a way for me to come in and start to get a feel for things. And have I. "epic lolz" "lol at you and paypal" "that forum is douche." Not much thought there, or any proof of subject matter.

It is all opinion, which may be true that this isn't a beginner forum. That's good, who wants to stay a baby forever? But I tried to get some reasonable dialog going on. So that is why I called out wf and asked him to give a few reasons.

The only person (so far?) that actually contributed to this thread in a positive manner was sgtryan. Thanks. ... and good thread about that Thiem character!

Back on topic. This behavior shouldn't surprise me, I guess. I've run forums before, and know how united the members can be, even if it's questionable. We're all sort of anonymous, and quick witted. So, I'll shake it off. But just wanted to say that I'm not a cry baby over a $15 scam, and I'm not a newbie.

See you all around in other threads.

Dave

No offense, but you a whiny bitch. Blah blah blah, retards at Warrior, blah blah.

How about you do us all a favor and actually pull up a thread that's worth wild and educational and link to it, because many of us have been there and know its a bunch of shit.

There's a reason this place runs the way it does, to keep the retards out the best we can. Stop bitching or go back to Warrior.

Actually, Dave, you'll find the other WF is just as cynical, but in a different way.

Here we call a spade a spade. Some of us will call it "that fucking thing you pay someone else to dig a hole in the ground with, shut up bitch, I'm sa-linging da berries!", but it's basically a spade.
Whilst I think I got lost in my own metaphor there, the point is that we call out bullshit.

Over on Worrior, you've got two main types.
Stupid morons that think making money online is easy, and are full of this amazingly naive optimism and positivity and love for any kind of sap that doesn't photosynthesize...
... and the cynical fucks that prey on them by selling PDFs of poorly typed, formatted and edited MS-Word documents for ludicrous prices that inevitably end in a seven.

So yeah, their old timers are just as cynical, but they do it in an underhanded method where they'll lie right to your face, and fondle your balls with one hand while they're pretending to play with your arse in the other but they're really pulling the money out of your wallet.

Ya dig(g)?
