Picture Hosting Sites

its just done with html. typically the picture hosting site will have a box where you can copy the code to post the picture elsewhere. included in the html which shows the picture is additional code making the picture a clickable link back to the file hosting site page.
 
One more question.

If you own an image hosting site - and someone uploads a nude photo, does this have to comply with that internet porn compliance standard, or is the site exempt if you write something Like this:

You must own the copyright, or have permission from the copyright holder for any images you upload to this website.

I am thinking about hosting an image site - but would not really want to block people from posting up porn pics - does the above statement look fine?

Can everyone see the photos that people upload? I don't know the legalities of it.

edit- Maybe just look at what sites like flickr are doing.
 
yeah - most of these sites say 'no porn' but what about those 'adult' youtube like services? or college humor?

I have been looking at these for examples, but I just wanted to see what others here thought.
 
well obviously no child porno or any of that shit. id guess youd have to trust the users or manually go through all the pics to find illegal porno shit. or you could just not give a shit.
