My bookmarking blast request was completed about a week ago. I wasn't expecting a mass change but I was expecting to rank somewhere for my main keyword. It hasn't yet. I never pinged the bookmarks and I have read that it is important although I thought they got crawled anyway.

Well I decided to ping them all using the free service pingfarm.com.

Do you think that actually works? Ping Farm that is?
 


Sometimes nothing will catapult your KW.

You also cnt just expect a bookmark blast to work. Keep getting more links.
 
Pinging won't do much, you better throw some profiles/blog comments at those fuckers.
 
No River created those links and yes all at once, but they don't get crawler/ indexed right away. His ad said it was safe and actually very successful for new EMDs.

His ad also said after a week or so you should see a change. I just don't. I wasn't ranking before and I'm not now.

I'm a total noob so I don't know if I need to go something with these links is all.
 
Sounds weird, I had good success with new sites and bookmarks before. The only difference I can see is that my blast was a dripfeed blast and not from river's package but I don't think that the package matters. Dripfeeding is imho a bit safer - even for newer sites. Such a boost seems spammy...

However, how many days passed by since then?
 
Ok, now that's odd :) Have you done any other seo optimization? If not, then you could ask river about it but I'm sure it's not because of his package.

Hmm, how many ranking spots did you check for your keyword? I hope you know that you'll not hit the first pages for a keyword like "insurance" with a bookmarking package :)
