Spoon pic of you tossing the dough in the air or it's DiGiorno.

dang that looks like a delicious idea.

Can i skip the hand making of the pizza, which i would just fuck up anyways, and use a papa murphy's pizza instead? (take and bake)

Never heard of papa murphy's pizza before, had to bing it. Anyway I have never tried to bake or grill a pie that was all together already. I think the key to starting with just the dough is you are able to grill one side, remove it from the grill and add your chz, sause and toppings and put it back on the grill. I have done about 2 dozen of these and it is very important to get the crust crispy...imho

Plus the jiffy pizza crust is 50 cents a box...

Another thing you can do regarding the dough... Most local pizza places will sell it to you if you ask.

100% yes. I BBQ'd a bunch of their pizza's this summer. In fact, they came out with a grilling pan for their pizza's and your bbq but I just threw in the oven at like 500F for a couple minutes to "set" the crust (still on the baking tray like normal) and then transfer it to the BBQ. Gourmet Vegetarian with garlic sauce BBQ'd is transcendental.

If you want to make a thinner crust pizza, you can also do it on the grill with a pizza stone. The stone and the grill give it a 'brick oven' kind of feel to the crust.

You could get a piece of stone tile and place it in the grill as a surface. Let the tile heat up before you cook the pizza.

Some bread maker machines also have a setting to make fresh pizza dough. Mine takes 45 mins to make it from just throwing in the flour, water, salt, yeast and olive oil.

I'm familiar with the brand.

I would opt for a more thin crust, I've never tried anything too thick.

This actually is a good idea. It sounds like a way to get that brick oven pizza taste, but without shelling out the cash by going to some trendy/expensive pizza joint. Thanks for the share. I will be trying this.
