This thread makes me want to move to SC. I really need to escape Buffalo winters.

Edit: just found out where it was. Isle of Palms.

The beach house the Citadel owns is out on IOP. Our long Sunday runs (10 miles or so) we used to get dropped off there and run back to campus. Good times!

IOP is an amazing spit of land. Absolutely gorgeous. But it's not as affordable as nearby suburbs and is far more prone to hurricane damage.

It's not the same year round here, we do get seasons, it just stays warmer longer.

Being from suburban New Jersey, home to deciduous trees, it was really hard for me to get used to winter being cold, rainy, and still humid- but with palmetto trees.
