Forgot that I set that. I spend so much time tweaking within the campaigns that I never look at editing the campaign as a whole.

Are rebills allowed on POF? Weight loss, biz op, supplements, etc.

Just curious.. sorry if this has already been covered earlier in the thread.

Yes, as long as the rebill T&C's are on the initial lander. Specifically, the disclaimer must state how much the customer will get rebilled + shipping charges.

Same thing for campaigns that offer a free trial + lump sum after the trial (but no rebill).

Again, HAS to be on the first page. A link to the T&C's will not suffice and they can't appear after the customer's completed an action. Transparency is key.

Ben at PoF.

Is there any information or documentation on how the demographics tool works in PoF? I am also wondering when I get numbers line EXACTLY 150% I think that those keywords do not have many statistics associated with them.

Any info on this tool would help. I cannot seem to find any really good info out there.

Thanks Ben!

Basically, when you see a number that is 150% (Expected is 100%), means that there was more people that we expected that have your keyword in their profiles. So for example, if you did "bingo", you'd see overwhelmingly older females.

This would certainly put you in the right direction for who you should target. But real gold is in the cross tab reports/conversion tracking/partial click log. We basically show you everything you need to know to make money :)

what i would LOVE to see is:

Make it possible to send ID of the user who clicked on your ad and make this ID equal the one in the partial click log. So i can identify which kind of persons convert without the need to use the insecure tracking pixel :p

Restriction by browser type

ban user (some are clicking on my ads 10 times a day since weeks, those are bots or w/e and its simply annoying to have something like this in internal stats)

readress users that clicked on your ads or exclude those who clicked on your ads after x clicks

(yeah i know will not happen but hey we all need dreams :p)

After speaking with a ton of advertisers, pretty much everyone knows we serve traffic based on CPM, but how many of you know how CPM influences your traffic?

Your CPM will have an effect on your CTR because we serve ads based on CPM price. The highest bids get their ads shown to the user first, followed by the next highest and so forth. So if your bid is too low, then the impressions you receive will be from people who have already seen 20 ads (thus the likelihood of clicking and converting are low).

- So are you bidding $0.30 in the US and getting less-than-desirable results? Your CPM bid may be a quick fix.

Your CPM will also have an affect on your traffic volume because the highest bids get their ad quota fillled first, followed by the next highest and so forth. So if your bid is too low, you might not get the priority to start getting a lot of traffic to your site & hitting your daily maximum spend.

- Only spending $10/day on a campaign? Try raising CPM's

However, please note that if you plan on raising CPM's, you'll get a LOT more traffic that you're used to. So generally, you'll have to tighten up the targeting to ensure this increase flow goes to the correct demographic.

Increasing CPM's without tightening up your targeting is like trying to fill a Coke bottle w/ a bucket of water without using a funnel.

Hope this helps!

Hey Ben,

Just sent you an email about adding a specific country to the advertiser's signup form.

Can't wait to get started on this. :)

Cheers!

OK guys,

I've been running 5 campaigns but it seems like I couldn't get enough impressions.

Is having 50 creatives in a campaign one too many? How many impressions per creative before I pause it?

Thanks.

Depends how much you're spending per day. From what I've heard, anywhere between 10k-30k impressions PER creative would be deemed sufficient to test at the demographic you're aiming at. So minimum 2500000 impressions @ a $0.50 CPM (assuming you're bidding the competitive bid in the US) and you're looking at $1250.

Our system will spread the impressions as evenly as it can on all creatives so you might be better off testing 3-5 creatives at time.

Ben, what's the difference between distribute evenly and distribute ASAP.

Which one's better?

Pretty sure that refers to how they distribute your daily budget, by either providing the impressions ASAP or spreading them out throughout the day based on your daily budget (ie. like facebook).

What kind of Ads perform better AIB compliant or the Facebook type ads? And what is the difference in pricing? I am thinking about running an AIB campaign but don't know where to start my bids
