Image sizes will change to facebook sizes, we are still making a whole bunch of changes and taking feeback into account. IE allowing you guys to duplicate existing campaigns quickly.
 
What would make your system even better than facebook is if you:

1. Take Amex
2. Cost per click
3. Day parting
4. Conversion tracking
5. Geo-targeting
 
Just signed up and took my cc with no probs, could you set it up so it e-mails out a receipt or you can pull it up somehow? Especially since you're charging GST to the canucks, makes things easier.

How do I create an ad? I made a campaign but cant see any way to make ads.

Also what is the difference between pause and stop for a campaign?

The help says I need a landing page. Does this mean no direct linking? its not very clear

click on the campaign name, next to the edit link. This brings you to the creating
ads page.

I'd say lp means you can direct link or have your own. They are both lp's.
 
Markus, right now I'm seeing only people from US, UK and Canada can register. Will there be a way to advertise through the platform for people that are not from one of those countries?
 
1. Countries will all be fixed, we only have a lot of traffic in US, UK and Canada so for now those countries are in the list. So the targetting country list and the signup country list where pulling from the same table, we will seperate them.

2. Crush, Branding with visual elements sucks, the ROI is no where near text.

3. We still have a lot of work to do on the image uploading, and a few other things. Keep in mind this is only a 90% complete system we are still changing whole sections around.
 
At least you're not being shitty like MySpace and not allowing Canadian advertisers 6+ months after launch.
 
Probably monday release, we will go through and start approving creatives, reset everyones account balance to 0 and than go live sometime next week. No promises though, we have been rolling out bug fixes and updates every day this week. Most of the effort is being spent on cleaning up the user interface.

We are going to go though and resize everyones photo's to, so don't panick if you see the originals in huge size as a result of todays update...
 
Marcus, when will we be able to add traditional banners (esp 300x250) through the self-serve system?

I’m pumped about this atm. Just added a handful of facebook-style creatives.
