it seems like dating offers are gone on POF. in one hand aff networks banning this traffic for dating offers (80% of them) and in the other hand POF wont let the few remaining offers (mate1, true, findsingles, etc) to run on the POF site.

so I guess is time to start looking for a new profitable niche to advertise on POF
plenty of other niches work well on pof.

diversify or die.

I was spending like $15 and making $40 one point
in time for one of the offers and suddenly for the
last 2 days I've been spending $3-$6 and making
$0.

If I was a network I'll advertise directly on POF
myself too, and I'll probably get better rates for
volume and ease of compliance checking.

sparks probably saw all the sales/traffic coming in via POF and decided to 'cut out the middleman' aka the affiliate and work direct.

haha awesome.

edit: didn't see it posted before.

what's wrong with POF traffic though? eh

Spark fell asleep during the Christmas break and wokeup to more leads they expected.

I'd be cautious sending media, search, and social traffic to Spark unless your doing revshare deals.

Spark is hassling all networks right now because they bit off more than they could chew.

Spark should have considered testing their backend before begging the CPA networks for business.

Now Spark has new fancy terms and conditions because of THEIR screw ups.

Its all part of the game people. Plentyoffish is the largest source of signups for most dating sites especially niche ones. For those of you who have hitwise check out what happened to some niche dating sites in mid oct, when we launched our self serve, you will see some niche sites doubled their traffic in a few weeks. Our uses spend $30 million dollars a month on other dating sites( I had 250,000 users respond to a poll asking where they signed up and how much they spend and if they were currently paying) 15% of my userbase currently has a active paying subscription on another dating site.

Where in the hell are the ads displayed? I made a few fake accounts, and the only thing I can see are full banner ads and google ads being displayed... Not the 110x80px ads ads that are supposed to be displayed.

Where exactly are these ads displayed? Thanks.

Yeah um whatever...

But seriously mark if you can give me an answer as to where they're advertised that would be a great help cause I really want to get started but I want to know where they're gonna be seen first. I read your help page and didn't see any info other than the size my ad has to be.

Thanks for any SERIOUS replies.

I looked everywhere for my ads and they were nowhere to be seen. Anybody else actually seen their ads run? I haven't even seen an ad in the format they're supposedly running in period. What's the deal?
