Yeah AMEX is charging 2.7 %, fuckin blows . Defeats the 2% I get back from them.

POF needs to charge out of USA, since we have 10 times the population and therefore much more affiliates.

I see the incremental bidding question still goes unanswered..

You can bid by whatever amount you want.

2. Foriegn charges, are bogus charges your bank makes. Most of the time if you complain they will drop the charges. We bill you in US dollars unless its amex , they make our life hard.

3. If you click on dailly spend it will now give a breakdown of ctr, total spend and impressions per day.

Called my bank and they said the foreign transaction fee is a flat rate just because the company is outside of the US. I spoke with a manager at the customer service dept. and a branch manager.

^ that is complete bs. As you can see others here aren't getting charged a "Company not in US fee". Most people i've talked to get the fee removed when they complain.

Curious as to why you have to bill differently with AMEX?

AMEX only allows you to bill in USD if you are incorperated inside the US. So we have to bill in CDN and than convert it to USD. So ridiculous.

Are the people you've talked to all from the US?

Because I don't think that applies to Australia. Most of the fee is charged for the currency conversion by Visa/MasterCard/Amex. Then most banks charge a bit more on top. I dont see how the bank could waive the fee charged by Visa, as they'd have to then foot the bill themselves.

For Australians, here's a list of the fees different charged by different banks:

Although HSBC offers the lowest rates out of the major banks, I use NAB, as with the FlyBuys cash rebate it works out better.
