as far as I know yes they are still allowed.
the only dating sites that you can't run on POF are adult friend finder, fling and offers like that.

i emailed them and they told me that free dating sites are not allowed anymore..thats weird because i've read somewhere in this thread a post from ben that they are allowed again :crap:

I was getting awesome CTRs yesterday after raising my bids about 20 cents. I was getting .66X CTRs across the board but PoF traffic converts like shit... I wasn't running dating offers though so it seems more and more to me like they are a one trick pony.

I have tried dozens of campaigns ranging from email submits to dating.
With re bills I have some conversions but I was either breaking even or losing a small % even after optimizing the campaigns. Emails submits are a waste of time CTRs are low as fuck. Dating, they convert but they are very picky on what they let you run on their platform.

It's a good source of traffic but as you say they are a tricky pony :)
 
would really like to see the numbers of people our ads have the potential of being served to, when we are selecting our demographics in the ad set up. similar to facebook/myspace. Your selected demos tell you your potential audience. Would be helpful, I think. Right now, my campaigns are garbage and my ROI is upside down...Apparently, I am doing it wrong. LOL. Time to rethink this POF approach
 
Getting .25% CTR, traffic seems decent quality (good time on page, low bounce rate) but ZERO conversions.

Anyone else similar?
 
My numbers for February:
388074 impressions
198 clicks
CTR of 0.51%
Bid: $0.15 (yes, I'm cheap :))
Spent: $58.21
Income: $265.02

The traffic is converting pretty good. Now it's just a matter of scaling, although I'm afraid it will hurt my conversion rate and ROI.

This would be more beneficial if we could "Show All" and still have them sorted. It only sorts Page 1 and I'd love to be able to see them all alphabetized on one page than having to go page by page.
